'Hot&Cold' by Fabrica and Daikin was presented at the Milan Design Week 2014, exploring the interactive qualities of temperature.
For example, one element to the installation features plants and items frozen in a large block of ice. Over time, as people come and go throughout the room, adding to its temperature, the ice will freeze and create a completely different way of looking at the objects held within it. In total, there are 36 components to the installation, all of which are adjusted throughout the day due to the hot or cold. Another part of the installation features a glass wall, which looks as though it has stalactites and stalagmites that slowly adjust over time. The entire piece is put together in a stark white room.
