A cylindrical sports museum, enclosed by the rings that form the logo of the Olympic Games, is erected in Doha, Qatar. Titled the '3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum,' the structure is the result of Spanish architect Joan Sibina's hard work.
The floor plan for the structures measures 19,000 square meters. There are two discernable volumes of the cylindrical sports museum. One of them, the street-facing one, is wrapped by rings that light up with the colors from the Olympic Games—red, green, white, yellow, and blue. Joan Sibina also utilized "jail-like screens, traditionally used in Islamic cultures to provide privacy" for the ring-enclosed portion of the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum. This feature is intended as a decorative element for Joan Sibina's striking design.
