The 'Cut-Save Life' has been designed to offer drivers and passengers with an enhanced sense of security by offering them a way to quickly and easily escape from a vehicle when emergency strikes. The device is affixed onto seat belts so that it stays out of the way until an emergency occurs, whether it’s because of an accident or another problem. The pin can be pulled on the device before the ring is pulled, to seamlessly slice the seat belt in one simple action to free passengers for a speedy escape from danger.
The conceptual 'Cut-Save Life' is the design work of Kim Insu, and has won a Red Dot Design Concept Award for 2017.
