This yellow cut-out mirror questions the instrumentality of the home object. The piece is designed by Greg Bogin who is a New York City-based contemporary abstract artist.
The creatively driven object is aptly given the name 'Mr. Sunshine.' It is released in collaboration with Case Studyo in a limited run of 50 cut-out mirrors. Greg Bogin's silhouette is made out of premium yellow acrylic. A hole has been added as a central feature to the design. Through this element, the contemporary abstract artist makes his statement. The Mr. Sunshine cut-out mirror subtly nudges the viewer to look beyond their complexion and beyond vanity. Instead, the piece advocates for perceiving "the world around the mirror."
Individuals who choose to invest in the object will receive it in a custom screen printed box.
