Tom Wilhelm is German designer whose handmade products include a series of artistic cruiser boards -- with the marble-painted 'Rollholz' collection being one of his more recent works.
Its stone-like appearance contrasts against rich exposed wood, giving the decks a subtle and modern appearance while still offering a playful pop of color. Despite the modern patterns that adorn the products, the cruiser boards simultaneously feature a retro design that's "inspired by the original skateboards from the ’70s in terms of shape."
Tom Wilhelm's cruiser boards are made to order and ship worldwide from his location. Decks can be customized with a variety of different woods available such as walnut, cherry tree, palisander and kirschbaum. Paint colors are numerous as well and Tom Wilhelm welcomes further personalizations upon request.
