Spam mail is something that frustrates and annoys many people with an active email account and Cristina De Middel has decided to visit the topic through the lens of a camera. She has created a clever series that imagines the people behind the spam emails. Below each image is the email that inspired the image, which fleshes out their expressions beautifully.
The interesting thing about Cristina De Middel's series, however, is the fact that many of these urgent messages were crafted to tug on heartstrings, and tug they did on her own. She writes, "Poly-Spam aims to build the robotic portrait of the senders, taking every single detail specified and translating it into images with special care in the dramatic ambient of the specific moment in which the mail was sent."
