From no matter which angle you observe the Crescent Lamp, it is an intriguing piece. If you look at it from the angle that's displayed in the first image, for instance, you may get a skewed idea about the true form of the pendant lamp.

Designed by Limin Wang, this futuristic piece has been made from metal, manipulated in such a way that's elegantly sculptural. The finished product is loosely ring-shaped with a straight band across the top and a broad and sunken-in bottom.

The reflections that cast from its own source and others are fascinating. And when you see the Crescent Lamp straight from the side, it looks like a gorgeous glass sphere that's been vertically compressed.
