For anyone who had a bit of a disastrous Valentine's Day, Snickers helped to smooth things over by giving away free Creamy Snickers bouquets on February 15th. While candy may not fix a broken heart, it certainly helps.
On February 15th, Snickers spent an entire day giving away free Creamy Snickers bouquets in New York City. There were three different bouquet favors, including Creamy Almond Butter, Peanut Butter, and Maple Almond Butter. All consumers had to do was tag Snickers on Twitter and use the hashtag #SmoothItOver and the chocolate emoji. The campaign was designed to celebrate the launch of Creamy Snickers and remind fans that they're "not smooth when they're hungry." As Snickers Brand Director Josh Olken explains, "We're giving customers the opportunity to smooth over any Valentine's Day mishaps, while also celebrating the smooth texture of new Creamy Snickers."
