Creamed spinach is a classic holiday dish, and this year Trader Joe's is putting a twist on the signature recipe with its new Creamed Greens product.
Trader Joe's Creamed Greens aims to elevate creamed spinach, by adding several other veggies into the mix. Instead of spinach, the new Creamed Greens product also contains "a carefully constructed blend of shaved Brussels sprouts and kale; partnered with garlic and onion, to add depth; and finished with a Parmesan-rich béchamel." Though there are plenty of greens in the mix, Brussels sprouts is the flavor focal point. The result is a rich, creamy, and delicious winter dish.
Best of all, Trader Joe's Creamed Greens are sold frozen, so you can keep them on hand for busy nights and then quickly whip them up in the oven or microwave.
