New York-based design company Stranger & Stranger designed the layered labels that are featured on the Craigellachie scotch-whiskey bottles. These intricate labels create an ancient-looking image with the use of multiple images and cursive typography layer atop one-another.
There is a historical story woven into the labels to project an authentic and traditional whiskey brand. The labels remain consistent across all four of the whiskey brand's products. Each image is extremely detailed and includes the use of both embossing and debossing text and images. This unusual combination provides consumers with a sensory-driven experience that is both pleasing to the eyes and the touch.
This historical liquor has been made and bottled since the late 1800s, so it was important for Craigellachie to convey this message.
