Kite and Alisha B Wormsley Create a Range of Cosmologyscape Benches

Artists Kite and Alisha B Wormsley have joined forces to create a range of Cosmologyscape benches in Brooklyn. These are clad in black mortar and then entirely detailed with AI-generated mosaics that are inspired by dreams gathered from the public. The project is comprised of benches and steps that are all decorated in the rile mosaic patterning collected from the Cosmologyscpae website.

Participants entire their dreams digitally and the resulting furniture is inscribed with the AI intepretaions. The team speaks about the design project, sharing "For hundreds of years, Black and Indigenous communities and numerous cultures around the world have used dreaming to listen to the past and reimagine the future. Cosmologyscape seeks to reinvigorate individual and communal dreaming practices."
