The way a brand is presented to consumers, particularly its image overall, is called corporate branding, the importance of which cannot be overstated enough.
Companies such as McDonalds, Starbucks, Disney and more have all become iconic, well-known brands with an identity of their own that consumers can relate to and associate certain products with. This familiarity has allowed these companies to achieve global success and popularity, increasing consumer loyalty and beating out the lesser-known competition even when the competition lowers its prices significantly.
Consumers tend to prefer brands that they know and love, as pointed out by the Infographic Design Team, making corporate branding one of the basic building blocks towards the success of any new company or entrepreneurial venture.
