CVS Pharmacy is set to launch a series of health-focused convenience machines at Boston's South Station and New York City's LaGuardia Airport, introducing a new way for consumers to pick up items on the fly from the drugstore and pharmacy.
The automated vending machines from CVS Pharmacy (the retail division of CVS Health) will be stocked with a variety of over-the-counter goods, including everything from vitamins and supplements to remedies, first care items, as well as better-for-you snacks.
As these CVS Pharmacy vending machines will be strategically stationed in close proximity to hotels, school campuses, airports and other public transportation stations, the selection of curated items in each convenience machine will vary slightly from location to location.
