The Constellation Table Lets Owners Arrange Legs in Different Formations
The Constellation Table isn't the first piece of furniture that has featured a slew of legs to support itself. Yet, it is the first piece of furniture that allows the owners to arrange and re-arrange those legs to form any pattern under the sky. Or perhaps people would like to take a hint from the name of this table and model the legs after star formations.
Created by Olof Nordenson and Ulf Jevin for Fulo, the Constellation Table is a minimalist furniture design apart from its quirky leg situation. According to the designers, "We let the stars determine the table’s design by randomly taking a section from the sky." Thus, it would only be natural for the legs to take on the form of stars.
