Glass-Inspired Reflective Outerwear

The Zap Commuter Jacket Reflects Light Without Using Batteries

In the growing competition in the fashion design industry in creating cutting edge garments and products, multinational performance apparel manufacturer Sugoi has created Zap Commuter Jacket for cyclists that cycle through streets at night. The jacket isn't the ordinary jacket that is fitted with straps of nylon glowing material featured on the jacket, it is actually made from highly reflective glass pixels that transform the jacket into a reflective shield during the night.

The jacket is made with the cyclist in mind; while it looks completely normal during the day, the jacket sticks out like a sore thumb during the night to keep the rider safe from incoming traffic.

The glass pixels on the jacket were screen printed, which means that the jacket eliminates the need for batteries or any other form of accessories.
