Using nothing but authentic comic book art, Mike Alcantara created a series of full-size collages to commemorate fearless comic superheroes like X-Men, Wonderwoman and Luke Skywalker.
On sale for anywhere from $200 to $400, these comic book art collages use no paint, markers or other materials whatsoever. This method stands as a tribute to solidarity and independent thinking that makes these characters the beloved comic heroes that they are.
X Men comic heroes were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in The X-Men #1 in September 1963. Star Wars #1 came out nearly 15 years later in 1977. Villans also get a spot in Alcantara's comic book art with one collage dedicated to Punisher.
These collages can be purchased on the artist's Etsy page.
