Microsoft Unveils Exclusive X-Men ’97 Xbox and Series X
Microsoft works in collaboration with Marvel Animation to work on the limited-edition X-Men ’97 Xbox and Series X consoles. It comes in a new and exclusive comic book written by Rich Douek with illustrations done by Paco Diaz. The narrative follows Cyclops as he leads the X-Men into battle.
They go forth and fight classic villains including Sentinels and Master Mold. The gaming consoles themselves also feature the stories and have a special cameo appearance in the Danger Room. The set of controllers is designed with inspiration from the notable color palettes of the X-men characters such as Storm, Rogue, and Wolverine. Each controller is detailed with a signature design and packaged in a 90s-style blister series for a retro look.
