Comcast and Fandango have partnered to offer consumers a more convenient means of planning a trip to the movie theater. This new partnership was developed with the intention of promoting the new Jurassic World film -- this summer's highly anticipated cinematic experience.
Those interested in attending a screening of the film can simply say "Get tickets" into a X1 voice remote. Alternatively, consumers can select the information button during a trailer of Jurassic World. Either of these gestures will prompt users to a screen that displays showtimes from nearby cinemas. From there, individuals can seamlessly purchase their tickets.
In addition to this service, Comcast has introduced an on-demand section that's features films and exclusive content from the Jurassic World franchise.
