Chromatically Shifting Clocks

The Colour O'Clock Changes Color as It Ticks

The Colour O'Clock is a truly unique and ingenious clock that changes color as the time ticks away. Designed by Duncan Shotton, the clock uses a vibrant spectrum of tones to complement the seconds, minutes and hours that make up your day.

The clock's frame itself is pure white. As the time ticks, the clock moves through various colors -- shades of green, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple and blue -- in a continuous and pleasing movement. This clock enables you to perceive the time of day not merely by number or hand positioning, but by a more relaxing and soothing way -- color.

The Color O'Clock was developed in collaborating with Japanese retailer Rainbow Spectrum.
