Lucy Litman Presents Foods from Around the World as Pantone Chips

Lucy Litman is a designer that takes the Pantone color scheme literraly by matching them alongside real savory and sweet foods. The colors are presented in the traditional Pantone style with blocks of edibles standing in as color counterparts and the name of the hue as well as its shade name listed below. The series is featured on Litman's Instagram account under the hashtag #pantoneposts.

Litmans designs focus on the natural colors prevalent in foods and the multiplicity of the shades. The installations feature white sheets of paper with squares frequently reserved for color blocks replaced with real food elements such as ketchup, mustard and hot sauce.
