Hawaiian Coleslaw Recipes

This Side Dish Puts a Hawaii-Themed Twist on a Barbecue Staple

Unlike other coleslaw recipes, this one is so good you're going to want to be eating it all summer long. Created by Erin from Platings and Pairings, the Hawaiian Slaw is inspired by a similar dish from The Skinny Fork.

To make your own at home, you will need to standard shredded red and green cabbage with grated carrots you would find as the base for most coleslaw recipes. However, for a Hawaii twist, you will also require yummy ingredients including pineapple, ginger root, green onions, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, lime, black sesame seeds and red pepper flakes. Erin also specially cut her carrots instead of grating them to make them look like little hearts.
