This dynamic visual identity for Mt Atkinson Coffee Roasters is a uniquely inspired range that aims to highlight the irony of the chic sophistication associated with coffee and the dire contradictory circumstances in which it is usually produced. Created by Auckland-based 485 Design, the range of designs includes bean packaging, paper and ceramic cups and in-store promotional materials.
The stylized black and white branding features a logo inspired by Mt Atkinson itself, as well as dizzying hexagonal patterns that match the interior store concept. The 485 Design creative contribution extends to the receipt format as well.
As the coffee market continues to expand into the realm of high-end marketing, coffee roasters face a unique challenge in differentiating themselves from the competition.
