This tall and narrow Cape Breton coastline cabin was designed by Design Base 8 and Omar Gandhi Architect.

The cabin is in Nova Scotia, Canada and takes advantage of the surrounding views with its staggering height. It stands tall on top of a hill and is surrounded by trees and the coastline of the Cape Breton area. The cabin does not feel like the typical cottage -- its modern exterior and high ceilings give it a unique look. Standing alone upon a hill top, this coastline cabin gives off an eerie but simultaneously comforting atmosphere.

The interior of this cabin features prove the beauty of the surrounding nature with floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the spectacular view. With its unique design, this cabin signals a shift towards more glamorous "cottage living" than what most were used to growing up.
