With the help of creative research, designer Javier Pena Ibanez has created Ciudad Domestica, a stunning collection of furnishings that bring an urban city inspiration into one's home.

The Madrid-Based architect looked to bird's eye city views and typographical imagery for visual inspiration when creating this unique line of home accessories. The collection includes practical shelving units, modular seating and table designs as well as an urban layout of floor and wall tiles that resemble scattered puzzle pieces.

Modelled after Logrono, Spain, Ibanez's urban layout pushes traditional design boundaries. Challenging the way one's home is designed and built, the architect's Ciudad Domestica project looks to the practice of urban planning for its guidelines and creates a living city inside one's home.
