Branded City-To-Trail Running Programs

Arc'teryx Brings Communities Together with Groundwork

Arc'teryx has launched Groundwork, an inaugural eight-week city-to-trail running program designed to equip urban runners with the technical skills, safety knowledge, and terrain confidence necessary to transition from pavement to mountain. The specialized initiative is offered across four major North American hubs, including New York City, Los Angeles, Portland, and Montréal.

Groundwork represents a strategic extension of Arc'teryx’s community commitment. The city-to-trail running program boasts a structured, expert-backed training protocol with local leadership to create an accessible yet comprehensive blueprint for trail running progression. Participants follow a multi-phase regimen delivered via TrainingPeaks, encompassing foundation building, strength development, and peak endurance. This is supplemented by weekly educational directives and optional community runs hosted by regional leads, tailored to each city's local wilderness.

Participation in Grundwork is capped at 150 per city. Each individual will receive a complete technical running setup, including the Norvan LD 4 trail shoes.
