City-Centric Beaches

The City Beach NYC Project Gives New Yorkers a Break from Business

City Beach NYC is a new project that is currently underway near Manhattan. The goal is to give city dwellers a break from everyday life, and offer a quick and convenient way to head to the beach for a day.

The plan is for a floating sand area to go along the side of the Hudson River close to downtown. Blayne Ross is the one responsible for coming up with the design, which would be situated on a barge-like structure sturdy enough for holding a decent amount of people (which considering how hot it can get is extremely important).

The City Beach NYC project is still underway, but hopefully will be revealed in the near future.
