TerraCycle, the international recycling brand known for its sustainability, has recently launched 'Loop,' a circular shopping platform that embodies TerraCycle's eco-friendly values. 'Loop' allows consumers to purchase a range of products in reusable and zero-waste packaging.
'Loop' partnered with several retailers including P&G, Nestlé, and Unilever to deliver goods to the public. Durability and scalability were essential in creating the packaging. CEO and president of TerraCycle Tom Szaky stated: "Loop was designed from the ground up to reinvent the way we consume by leveraging the sustainable, circular milkman model of yesterday with the convenience of e-commerce."
The circular shopping economy is a perfect compliment to the prevailing sharing economy. The unsustainable models of previous generations will make way for new consumption patterns.
