Spanish Donut Sandwiches

Rather than taking a long fried stick form, this creation from Sylvia Yoo of Churro Borough twists the classic Mexican churro into a churro sandwich filled with ice cream. The churro ice cream sandwich is handmade and filled with one of four seasonal flavors, including: horchata with a rice and almond milk ice cream, Mexican hot chocolate, berry panna cotta or orange creamsicle. If you're not totally blown away by the sounds of these flavors, the fact that Yoo makes everything that goes into the sandwiches herself is surely impressive.

The creaminess of the ice cream mixed with the crispy, sugary coating on the Spanish donut dessert sounds like a match made in heaven for those with a sweet tooth.
