The Chocolate Pinata is an indulgent over-the-top table dessert only available at Uncle Julio's chain of Mexican restaurants. Recently featured on the Instagram account of 'foodgod' Jonathan Cheban, the Chocolate Pinata requires diners to smash open a hanging chocolate globe with wooden batons. Once smashed open, the pinata-inspired dessert reveals a bevy of berries, pineapple chunks and churro bites. The platter also features caramel sauce and whipped cream for further indulgence.
The Chocolate Pinata is available at the majority of Uncle Julio's restaurants located across the United States. Relatively affordable at $20, the interactive table-dessert serves four to eight guests and is sure to provide entertainment for the whole family, as well as social media-worthy content for those so inclined.
