The Chivas Extra 13 Collection Includes Four Varieties

The Chivas Extra 13 Collection has been unveiled by the Pernod-Ricard-owned Chivas Brothers brand to help make the spirit applicable to a wider range of consumers. The new spirit lineup consists of four varieties that have been matured in different casks including Caribbean Rum, Spanish Oloroso Sherry, Mexican Tequila and American Rye. Each of the varieties are inspired by founders James and John Chivas who imported a range of products including rums, luxury food items and exotic spices to their emporium at 13 King Street in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Director of Blending at Chivas Sandy Hyslop spoke on the Chivas Extra 13 Collection saying, "The Extra 13 collection represents new territory for Chivas as we continue to open up the world of Scotch whisky to new audiences and fresh experiences. At Chivas we believe that blended is better – and nowhere is this more evident than with our new collection, which blends exceptional Scotch with a diverse, internationally-inspired palette of flavors.”
