This China retail center concept is inspired by the traditional treasure bowls that are synonymous with the booming nation. Adorned with an LED-lit canopy, this futuristic shopping mall draws inspiration from aquatic design and is set to feature an in-house aquarium.
In addition to its aquarium and vast entertainment spaces, this China retail center's plans also reveal a place for gondola rides and is conceived with American architecture firm amphibianArc. The retail center is part of China's Dongfeng City renovation project and will span a total of 350,000 square meters in size.
While China is no stranger to futuristic architecture and innovative retail, this shopping mall goes one step further and not only acts as a shopping venue but also as a tourist attraction or place of entertainment.
