A new and incredibly chic Middle-Eastern restaurant opened its doors to the public in May 2023 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Delbar is the business of restaurateur Fares Kargar and for this location, Archie Bolden was tapped to be the consulting designer. The resulting Middle-Eastern restaurant interior exudes cultural accents and modern sensibilities, with the aesthetic paying homage to Kargar's roots in Gorgon, Iran.
Kargar, the driving force behind the interior design, created a luxurious and welcoming ambiance through the inclusion of earth-toned walls antique textiles, hand-painted ceilings, custom marble lighting, and rustic wooden elements. The entrance features a hanging garden and water fountains, while the dining room is adorned with zellige Moroccan tiles, lush greenery, and vintage French chandeliers. Banquette seating, velvet upholstery, and custom cubbies filled with pottery add to the Middle-Eastern restaurant's atmosphere.
