Local interior design studio Luchetti Krelle leads the aesthetics of the new Cibaria restaurant in Sydney. The space is defined by asymmetrical arches and white stucco walls paired with patterned tiles. It is located on the ground floor of the Manly Pacific Hotel, which also recently underwent a renovation.
Guests enter through the solid timber-gramed glass doors in the hotel lobby -- they are met by plenty of seating areas and two open kitchens. Luchetti Krelle speaks about the design project to Dezeen, "Cibaria features a mash-up of pigment pairings incorporating assorted stone, patterned tiling and printed fabrics. We were inspired by masseria's in Puglia – farmhouses now used as hotels that offer glimpses into rural traditions and feature open kitchens boasting local produce."
