Charlie Guda's Big Bloom Vase Helps You Smell the Roses

The big bloom vase by Charlie Guda was featured at the Museum of Modern Art. It was part of an exhibition called Design and the Elastic Mind. The vase has a Fresnel lens which is placed in front of a test tube that is connected by a rod. The vase allows you the ability to magnify the appearance of flowers that are placed in the test tube.

It also illuminates the amount of love it is meant to represent. If you didn't know what roses or tulips looked like close up you would just have to put them in the test tube and the flowers would be illuminated by the magnifying effect. Bigger is better, especially when it comes to beautiful flowers and showing off their very delicate and dainty appearance.
