Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

iF Award Winner by Stasinopoulos

High-tech finishes and graphic colour-blocking helped Alexandros Stasinopoulos and the BRɅFC[eramic]ACE win an iF concept award for 2008.

The designer teamed zirconium oxide, a ceramic material, with leather to create these eye-catching and modern briefcases. One of Stasinopoulos’ goals with the concept was to incorporate the, “unique properties high tech ceramics posses like their extreme hardness, scratch- and abrasion-resistance, skin friendliness and their unique sensuous tactility.”

I like these prototypes so well, I would love to see some of the other versions in his sketches come to life, especially the red criss-crossed carrier.
