Ellen Smith — December 27, 2017 — Art & Design
Designer Stefan Diaz partnered with the brand Vibia to create a series of celestial lamps that appear to glow with a hidden light source.
The over-arching goal of this series was to explore the light-conducting abilities of glass. The result, is a stunning collection, with each model featuring a strip of concealed LED lights that glow with the help of a glass diffuser. To make the reflection even more noticeable, the designer etched patterns and shapes into the glass, that one can see when the light has been turned on. The LED strips enable an individual to display the light without the need for wires and switches, making for a glamorous and elegant addition to any home.
