The team at LFD Official introduces its COSMOOVAL Lamp series, which is a lighting system inspired by our solar system. The designers created a series of lamps that light up a space but also tell a cosmic narrative. It boasts a strong influence from the celestial bodies in the solar system, spotlighting how it influenced our planet and the lights and shadows that it forms.
The series highlights the main elements including materiality, limitation, expandability, and transparency. The design process kicked off with a mood board to truly reflect the tension and spatial dynamics of the comics. The basic structures are inspired by solar and lunar eclipses, shooting stars, and the way that planets move around. The final design considered various materials and ended with three main types of lamps.
