The cedar-clad house by Marvel Architects is stunningly contemporary, open and luxurious. Located on Long Island's Peconic Bay, the dwelling is characterized by its breathtaking panoramic views and its infinity pool.
The dwelling is completed as a weekend retreat. The exterior boasts a strong geometric presence — the framework of the home is essentially the intersection of two volumes. Marvel Architects took advantage of this feature to create "an opening on the ground level that forms a passage toward the back," thus, producing the opportunity for more breathtaking views. The interior, on the other hand, boasts a spacious aesthetic which really adds to the comfort and glamour of the cedar-clad house. For the arrangement, Marvel Architects undertook a maximalist approach that is fluidly welcomed by the fully-glazed interior.
