Koenigsegg CCGT1 transforms the brand's abandoned GT1 race car into a limited-production road-legal megacar based on the CC850. Nearly every exterior body panel has been redesigned around an active aerodynamic package that includes a large rear wing, front splitter, sculpted underfloor, NACA ducts and a roof scoop, producing up to 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged V8 generating 1,280 hp on standard fuel or 1,600 hp on E85, paired with the Light Speed Transmission and a new Sequential Shift system or the optional Engage Shift System with a gated manual interface.
The driver-focused cockpit features carbon-fiber seats, six-point harnesses, a third-generation Chronocluster display and Ghost Fibre white carbon fiber developed from the Trevita program. An optional factory track package adds a carbon roll cage, racing seats, fire suppression, race exhaust, air jacks, dedicated suspension and brakes, enhanced aerodynamics and track-specific wheels and tires. Production is limited to 70 examples, all of which have already been allocated.
