Cassina's New Back-Wing Pro Armchair Boasts Comfort and Style

Patricia Urquiola has designed an elevated lounge chair for the furniture brand Cassina. Dubbed the Back-Wing Pro armchair, this new design boasts a simple yet comfortable aesthetic and is perfect for office spaces, lounge areas, and lobbies.

The armchair is the second piece belonging to Cassina's Back-Wing Pro collection, with the first Back-Wing dining chair conceived in 2018. The company prides itself on the line's comfortability yet distinctive aesthetically pronounced look. The armchair has a solid wooden structure intentionally built around the upholstered fabric to showcase the "fine woodworking skills of the Cassina joinery."

The chair boasts proper ergonomic support as the backrest wraps the entire sitter's body. The armrests fold down in a manner that provides ultimate arm support and comfort. The chair can be custom upholstered in either leather or fabric.
