On November 7th and 8th, the Casey House and Chef Matt Basile will host events that are entirely catered by HIV+ cooks, with the aim being to break the stigma surrounding the virus.
The two events will be held at 1090 Queen St. West, at the 'Church Aperitivo Bar.' Tickets run for $125 per person, and include the full cost of the elaborate meal that will be served. As seating is assigned before the event, all parties who plan to attend will be limited to four people.
In addition, if attendees make a donation of $150 or more to the Casey House, they'll receive a limited edition apron that features a stigma-fighting slogan on the front.
