McFadyen Digital is introducing Cartable as a pop-up autonomous retail-as-a-service (PARaaS) platform, which has the potential to be useful across many different industries, particularly retail, grocery, B2B and even military applications. According to Tom McFadyen, CEO of McFadyen Digital, “This flexible combination of online connectivity, on-demand product offerings, and locker pickup, means that autonomous storefronts can be available wherever needed."
While brick-and-mortar locations are valuable for making products readily accessible in certain locations, Cartable offers more flexibility and high-tech features than the average retail space, and helps to circumvent pitfalls of traditional shops. The portable pop-ups can be securely operated without staff and offers a new level of convenience to consumers in areas where it is needed most.
