The 'Stowaway' Car Roof Rack Stores in the Glovebox When Not in Use

If your vehicle doesn't have a roof rack then you're out of luck unless you get one professionally installed, so the 'Stowaway' car roof rack aims to change this. Capable of being stored in the trunk or even the glovebox when not in use, the 'Stowaway' is impossibly compact and inherently useful for car owners.

Funding now on Kickstarter, the 'Stowaway' system consists of removable roof racks that sit on top of the vehicle when needed. Included straps affix onto the racks and tighten across the top of the vehicle to enable drivers to strap boxes and other cargo to the roof without fear of damaging the car.

The 'Stowaway' car roof rack can support loads of up to 75-pounds, which will come in handy the next time a camping trip or moving day comes around.
