Using artificial intelligence and automotive recognition technology, 'Blippar' has designed a car recognition app that can process information quicker than most humans can comprehend.

With just the click of a button, this app can produce the name, make and year of any car manufactured in the U.S, after the year 2000. The visual search technology compares the photo taken to hundreds of millions of photos on the internet, finding the best suited information based on the picture provided.

Taking a photo of a car both moving or stationary will activate the app's database, "at which the technology can recognize the make, model and year of each car is unparalleled not only from a technology standpoint, but is beyond what most humans can identify by sight."

This app is the first example of machine-learning and augmented reality coming together to form the world's first augmented reality browser.
