A new Capital One ad made its debut ahead of the holidays to promote the company's free browser extension, which helps online shoppers get the best deal possible by automatically adding coupon codes when they're ready to checkout. The extension also allows shoppers to see when prices have dropped on items they've been keeping their eyes on.
The short ad spot shows John Travolta dressed as Santa Claus, who is readying his online shopping cart on his laptop, with a tall milkshake in hand. Suddenly, Samuel L. Jackson pops up on his screen wearing a festive hamburger tee and hat, and tells Mr. and Mrs. Claus about the handy extension. The ad subtly hints at themes from 'Pulp Fiction,' where the actors famously appeared together.
