Local design firm Canter and Gallop Design have just presented a quiet Hong Kong home design with a tranquil ambience. Nestled at the top of a hill overlooking views of the sea, the home is also next to a bamboo forest, which served as its inspiration. It is made for a family of four and the home is meant to encourage a calm sense of mindfulness.
There is a strong use of wood, which is integrated to the walls and floors, even the fitted furniture for an organic aesthetic. The studio explains the design concept behind the space, "The design incorporates rustic materials, subtle textures, and thoughtful elements to reflect their love of nature and spiritual sentiments. We want to allow our residents to slow down and have a deep dialogue with nature."
