Instant Japanese food producer Nagatanien is now offering its popular miso soup in a convenient canned soup package.

This is the actually the first time that this line of Japanese miso soups has been offered in an easy-to-consume canned container, and the dish can actually also be purchased warm from vending machines. The product is also being marketed as both a hangover cure due to the soup containing high levels of the amino acid ornithine. Ornithine is actually a traditional Japanese hangover cure found in clams, hence the company's slogan "Power of 70 Clams."

The canned soup package also markets to drinkers, and features a cartoon and slogan on the can with a cartoon character enjoying a beer while proclaiming "for the alcohol-loving you.”
