There's not much to camp tents other than a single usage, so the 'flying tent' is designed to change this. Packing four different uses into one design, the 'flying tent' operates as a traditional tent, a floating tent, a hammock and even a rain poncho.
The need for flexible solutions when camping is apparent, yet the industry has remained relatively unchanged with tents still operating in a one-dimension territory. The 'flying tent' looks to change perceptions of how gear can be made to offer enhanced capabilities and cost savings.
The 'flying tent' is currently being funded via a Kickstarter campaign where a pledge of €99 will get you one of the camp tents of your very own when the campaign finishes up.
