Roborock Enters Pool Care With The RockAqua Q1

Roborock introduced the RockAqua Q1, its first robotic pool cleaner, featuring monocular camera-based obstacle avoidance to navigate complex layouts. The battery-powered device includes dynamic dirt detection and an Auto Waterline Parking function. It marks Roborock’s entry into automated pool maintenance alongside its robotic vacuum and lawn mower ranges.

The RockAqua Q1 provides 3.5 hours of battery life and takes 3.5 hours to recharge. Its onboard sensing system helps the robot handle varied pool geometry and identify soiled areas. The product is launching in Europe, while pricing and U.S. release details have not been announced.

For pool owners, the Q1 offers an autonomous option designed to reduce hands-on cleaning, with its parking feature supporting easier retrieval. The launch reflects the expansion of household robotics beyond indoor floor care, allowing Roborock to apply its navigation expertise to an adjacent category while broadening its home-maintenance ecosystem.
