Google has released a new camera app called the Photo Sphere Camera that allows users to take 360 angle shots of their surroundings and publish the images directly onto Google Maps for others to see.
While most photography apps and smartphone cameras only allow users to take images straight on, the Photo Sphere Camera allows users to shoot a panorama style picture from a 360 angle. The images can be uploaded onto Google Maps to give people around the world the chance to experience a place virtually as if they were there too. This would be great for cool sights, famous monuments, traveling and secret spots that you find that you'd want to show off to friends and strangers.
